Ben was born and raised in Rockhampton, having completed his schooling at The Cathedral College in 2004. Ben joined the firm in 2010 and obtained a Bachelor of Laws in 2012 from James Cook University Townsville. Shortly after Ben joined the firm he worked as an assistant to Vicki Jackson and later undertook a traineeship with the firm supervised by Vicki.
Ben was admitted as a solicitor in June 2013.

Ben is a Solicitor of the High Court of Australia and Supreme Court of Queensland. He is a member of the Queensland Law Society and the Central Queensland Law Association. He is also a member of the Central Queensland Young Lawyers Committee.
Outside the law, Ben has interests in 4WD’ing, sports including cricket, rugby league, and rugby union, computers/technology and fish keeping.
