Alexander Bowen

Alex is a property lawyer, advising clients across a broad range of property and leasing matters. He attended Brisbane Grammar School, completed his studies at QUT and was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland at the end of 2020. He regularly assists with commercial property transactions and the review and negotiation of lease documentation, with a particular focus on acting for tenants in commercial and retail leasing matters.

Alex’s work includes advising on contracts for commercial purchases and sales and guiding clients through all forms of Queensland property transactions. His passion is to focus on commercial, practical outcomes that help clients understand the real-world impact of key terms, managing risk sensibly, and negotiating and preparing documentation that protects his client’s position while getting the transaction done.

Alex works closely with landlords, tenants, investors and business owners to progress matters efficiently from initial advice through to settlement or completion, and is committed to clear, plain-English advice that supports confident decision-making. He also enjoys advising on business sales and acquisitions, assisting with contract review and due diligence through to settlement.

In his spare time, Alex enjoys playing golf and cricket, watching premier league football in the early hours of the morning and spending time with friends.
