About Luke
Luke Collins joined South Geldard Lawyers in 2018 following a significant career in horse racing integrity.
Luke’s practice primarily focuses on family law property settlements and parenting matters. He assists clients to navigate the legal and personal challenges that arise when relationships break down, providing clear advice to help them understand their options and make informed decisions about their future.
In 2026, Luke completed a Master of Applied Law (Family Law), further developing his knowledge of family law and its practical application. This advanced qualification supports his work in property and parenting matters, strengthening his ability to assess complex issues, explain the legal principles involved and help clients consider the options available to them.
As an accredited mediator, Luke also has a strong interest in constructive dispute resolution. He recognises that, where appropriate, negotiation and mediation can provide an opportunity to resolve disagreements without the additional time, expense and stress that contested court proceedings may involve.
Luke combines his professional experience, advanced family law qualifications and mediation skills to help clients navigate challenging transitions with clarity and confidence, working towards outcomes that are practical and appropriate to their circumstances.
