Andrew was born in England, and after commencing his schooling there and in Papua New Guinea, he moved to Australia to complete his secondary schooling, and then his Law degree at Queensland University of Technology.
After graduating from university in 1996, Andrew completed his Articles of Clerkship with a national law firm, before he was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in March 1998.
For over the last 20 years, Andrew has practised almost exclusively in Family Law. Prior to joining the firm in January 2024, he held the role of Principal Lawyer/ Head of Legal Services, with a specialist Family Law firm.
Andrew has completed a Master of Applied Law (in Family Law) with the College of Law, and he has previously lectured in Family Law to post-graduate students of the College.
Having a strong interest in helping clients through the difficulties of a relationship breakdown in a compassionate manner, Andrew endeavours to always provide practical and common-sense advice.
With a keen commitment to assisting the community, Andrew has volunteered with a local community legal service for over 20 years, and in 2015 this service was recognised with a Commonwealth Government Volunteer Award.
