Property & Conveyancing
Buying, selling, subdividing or leasing — residential, commercial and rural property across Queensland.
Since September 1961, South Geldard Lawyers has helped Queensland people, families and businesses with their legal matters — today from offices in Rockhampton, Yeppoon and Brisbane.
Founded in Rockhampton in 1961, South Geldard Lawyers now acts for clients across Queensland from three offices — Rockhampton, Yeppoon and Brisbane.
We act for a wide cross-section of the community: business owners, graziers, farmers, employers, landholders and families. Real legal problems rarely stay in one category — a separation can involve a business, an estate can involve a farm — so we bring twelve practice areas together under one roof.
Under Managing Director Ben Wright, the firm has expanded into Brisbane and Yeppoon while keeping what has served clients for more than 60 years: lawyers who know the region, give clear advice and stay with a matter from start to finish.
Many matters are handled entirely by phone, email and electronic signing, and a number of our clients are interstate or overseas and never attend in person.
South Geldard Lawyers began with one lawyer in Rockhampton in 1961. The firm’s commercial client base grew quickly, and its people grew with it: many of the partners who followed — including Managing Director Ben Wright — trained with the firm as articled clerks.
That succession has kept continuity and personal service at the centre of the practice for more than 60 years.
