Charles has over 30 years industrial relations experiencing working in both legal and non-legal roles at employer associations, government departments, consultancy firms and law firms. He has provided services in a variety of industries with the key areas being hospitality, medical, government, schools and not-for profit sector.
He has a passion for industrial relations and uses his extensive experience to provide tailored and practical industrial relations solutions. Charles believes the key objective of an adviser is to align industrial relations law with business goals and objectives.
Formal qualifications include bachelor degrees in law and economics/industrial relations as well as graduate diplomas in industrial relations and legal practice. Charles also has a degree and advanced diploma in archaeology and palaeoanthropology which has provided him with special knowledge and skills in Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander matters.
Charles is a member of the Queensland Law Society, Industrial Relations Society of Queensland and Australian Archaeological Association.
