Meggan grew up on a cane farm in the Burdekin area, where she attended school at Burdekin Catholic High School, graduating in 2021. Upon completion of secondary education, Meggan moved to Townsville to attend university.
Throughout her law degree, Meggan worked as an electorate officer in political offices, and closer to the end of her degree, she worked as a law clerk in a commercial law firm in Townsville. Prior to completing her law degree, Meggan moved to the Rockhampton area and joined the firm in January 2025 while finishing her law degree and practical legal training
Meggan holds Bachelor of Laws from James Cook University and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law. Meggan was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland in August 2025.
In her spare time, Meggan enjoys spending time with friends and family, being outdoors, and all things health and fitness related.
