Peter Wrigley

Peter started his legal career practising commercial litigation before working exclusively on employment and industrial relation matters. He has practised law in boutique and national law firms, as well as in-house legal counsel for a private company. Peter’s experience includes advising on workplace performance, investigating complaints of misconduct, and advocating for clients in workplace litigation. He provides legal advice on national employment standards, workplace agreements, industrial relations, and discrimination claims.

Peter has advised both employees and employers, including representing a national company on all employment and industrial relations matters covering their 400+ workforce. He has taken the lead on negotiating enterprise agreements; advising stakeholders, meeting with employee representatives, and managing disputes in the Fair Work Commission.

Each workplace requires individual legal advice; so, Peter takes a practical and measured approach to resolving issues in the workplace. He enjoys helping his clients understand their legal options and providing real-world answers to modern-day problems.

Outside of the office, Peter enjoys watching movies, hitting the gym, and spending time with his family. As a native New Zealander, he is a fan of Rugby Union and supports the Waikato Chiefs. While his playing days are now behind him, Peter enjoys watching his children, nieces, and nephews play club and representative sports.
